We have never seen such an amazing flora on an elevation of 10,000 ft! Dan finally got to see snow and we even saw a young black bear, just 60 ft. away from us!

We did a stunning hike today. Here in the US, on an elevation of 2800 m we found a huge diversity of trees and flowers and even hummingbirds- such a difference to Europe!

Before heading to Colorado we went back to Bluff Springs which is our favorite spot in Lincoln National Park to have a picnic.. and Spotty had his first encounter with cows:)

Even tough we are on an altitude of 7000 ft. it is getting incredibly hot during the day, and we were very surprised to find apricot and cherry trees and hummingbirds!

We discovered this beautiful winery on our last day in the Hill Country , and just wanted to drink a glass of wine but ended up staying for 5 hours. We went for a walk on the vineyard, and met lovely people who invited us to join them for some glasses of wine. It was just the perfect last day!
